In 2003, Gordon Campbell broke his promise to British Columbians, betrayed British Columbians in the north and the Cariboo, and sold B.C. Rail.
But the sale was more than just another broken promise - it sparked the largest political scandal in B.C. history.

The 2008 Affadavits
In May 2007, Premier Gordon Campbellās remarks during an estimates debate brought to light an abrupt and unexplained change to the process in place within the government to vet documents related to the B.C. Rail corruption trial.
Six government affidavits were acquired by the Official Opposition in May of 2008 in an attempt to examine and highlight that abrupt change.
