Campbell's Election Promises Crumble

As soon as the election was over, Gordon Campbell started to back track on his promise to protect health care, education, and other vital services.

Even though top economists and business leaders were warning the premier for months that his pre-election budget numbers didn’t add up, it took until July for the government to finally admit that they're going to break the premier's promise to keep the deficit under $495 million.

Now British Columbians are getting both a bigger deficit and cuts to programs. But while you pay the price for Gordon Campbell's broken promises, the premier refuses to admit he was wrong.

It’s time for him to come clean.  It’s time for him to admit he misled average families. And it’s time for him to be upfront about his post election plans.
