Letter to the chair of the committee to appoint an auditor general, formally requesting he reconvene and reconsider a second term for John Doyle

The Liberals are not up to the challenges facing British Columbia today, and would rather silence critics and thwart accountability than manage the province properly and responsibly.

That’s why the Liberals are blocking the reappointment of Auditor General John Doyle for a second six-year term.

New Democrat caucus chair Shane Simpson sent a letter to MLA Eric Foster, chair of the Special Committee to Appoint an Auditor General, to “formally request that you reconvene the Special Committee to Appoint an Auditor General in order to revisit the decision to not appoint John Doyle to a second term as B.C.’s auditor general.”
