KASLO – New Democrat MLA Brittny Anderson is welcoming joint funding for drinking water infrastructure improvements in Kaslo.
“Clean drinking water is essential for every community.” said Brittny Anderson, MLA for Nelson-Creston. “I am pleased to see our government join with federal partners to provide more than $700,000 to help Kaslo build new systems to improve drinking water quality.”
The Village of Kalso is receiving $339,299 from the provincial government for a project that will improve drinking water quality by adding ultraviolet treatment.
This project is part of a joint investment of more than $16.1 million from the federal and provincial governments to support four water infrastructure projects across B.C. By investing in these projects, the Province and Government of Canada are building resilient communities, and improving the lives of people in B.C.
