VANCOUVER – Families in Vancouver will benefit from 37 new licensed child care spaces thanks to a $202,906 investment through the province’s Childcare BC New Spaces Fund, announced New Democrat MLA for Vancouver-Fraserview, George Chow.
“Parents have been struggling to find quality, affordable child care, for far too long. The investments from this new government in child care spaces is good for families, and for our economy,” said Chow. “Our Childcare BC plan is letting families and child care providers know that we are on their side, and that we’re committed to delivering services we all depend on.”
These new child care spaces are part of our commitment to deliver more affordable care across the province. The fund will continue to support the creation of more spaces, making life easier for families.
