“This year, more than ever, we thank our public school teachers for standing up for public education. Teachers stood up to an uncaring government that showed it would rather provoke and disrespect teachers than make schools better for our kids by providing vital classroom supports.

“Our teachers have returned to their classrooms after resolving a long dispute with the government, and have shown incredible professionalism in their work with our children, helping them grow both intellectually and emotionally.

“We understand the challenges that teachers face every day in the classroom, and we will continue to fight every day on your behalf to improve education in B.C.”
